First Flight!

This summer, all of the Unger/Rosbrugh/Flory clan met up in Montana to have a family reunion. The week was a ton of fun and it was great seeing Luke in an outdoorsy setting, as we are not outdoorsy folks. We were extraordinarily hesitant, as Luke had never been on a plane and previous overnight trips where Luke did not have his own room were painful at best.

That being said - the trip was successful and there will be quite a few posts in the coming days to commemorate the trip. Big thanks to Auntie Kay for letting us crash at her place, allowing us to have Luke go to sleep at 7:30 without Todd and I having to go to sleep at the same time. Hooray!

Luke did really well - the flight attendants all knew his name and checked in on him frequently. He earned his first wings! We had a layover in Seattle and he slept on the second leg of the journey, but not the first. Another thanks to Grammie Linda for the DVD player, as well as Little Einsteins. We couldn't have done it without you!

Many more posts to come!

Yummy in the Tummy!

Fruit. It's not just for making diapers exciting, but it's funny too.

Family Pictures

It's not often that we can get all three of us together for a family picture. I think the last one we had was a year ago. This is from Spencer's birthday as well. What fun!

Birthday Party!

Spencer turned three, so we were off to Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos to celebrate! As always, he ran. And ran. And ran. It was nice to have both Todd and I there to tag team him.

He loved the orange cones for a brief, wonderful moment, he was entertained with stacking and arranging them. Just like Daddy teaching PE! What a cutie.

Luke had his first ride on both the train (choochoo!) and the carousel. The train was surprisingly not a hard sell (I figured it wouldn't move fast enough) and he was all about the "choochoo!"

I thought for sure Luke would be all about the carousel (more movement) he was so not into it. He took the first ride with Daddy and freaked out when he was put on the horse. So he rode on the bench. By the end, he was starting to dig it.

Unsure:

Getting there:

I immediate took him on and stuck him on a horse. He put the death grip on me (I wasn't going anywhere) and I stuck by him. Once the carousel started, Luke got into it and was all smiles by the end.

Happy little chatterbox:

By the way: too funny that I picked the "monkey" horse. Wierd.

We took Luke home for a nap and then met up with the rest of the party for dinner at Bucca Di Beppos. We realized we haven't been there since our rehearsal dinner. How time flies! Luke ate like a champ, which is always a great relief.

Outside, Spencer found some fountains and Luke just couldn't resist. (FYI: There are a dozen pictures of Luke screaming like a madman, he was so excited.) I can't say Spencer was all that thrilled with Luke's splashing.

Yup, I took video. He was a mess, but he loved it!

Shower Time!

'Tis the season for friends baking buns in their ovens. I'm planning on living vicariously through them. See my plate? It's full, thanks. That being said, I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my oldest friends, Stacie. She was my maid of honor in my wedding and I have known her for almost 25 years. So it was an extravaganza. Of course.

Shannon, Stacie and Me!

Stacie with the Diaper Wreath. I do love making a good diaper wreath.

The cake. Mmmmm . . . delicious.

(as a side note: I highly recommend Not Just Cheesecakes in Campbell for all your cake needs. )

We are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of little Baby Fazzio!

Potties

Potties are way cool. I have one. Do you?

Sometimes I like to sit on it.

Sometimes I like to play with it.

Use the potty, you ask?

Silly.

I love watermelon.

I really really love watermelon.

If you're nice to me, I might share. MIGHT.

Do you think if I let her hold me long enough, I can get more watermelon?

(Just wait for this diaper Mommy . . .)
