On Tuesday, March 20th, Todd and I went in for our super ultrasound (the Anatomy Scan) where they check all the vital organs to make sure that all is well. Luckily, Baby Bickel is right on track and everything is going wonderfully.
It is also the time to check for gender!
We found out we are having a girl! I am so thrilled!
To share the news with my class, I made mini-cupcakes and gave them a pink filling. When the kids all bit into them, they were able to “discover” that I would be having a girl. My sweet students – they decided they were celebrating the baby’s “birthday” since they wouldn’t be around when the baby is born.
Our due date is still on track for August 22nd – right next to my lovely MIL’s birthday!
